Cu Plas Callow St Nininans Mixed B team started their new year off in style winning 14/2 against our home-team Designer Glass Castletown Abbey B.
Despite the final scoreline, many games were close, 6 going St Ninians way by 4 points or fewer. Castletown’s redeemers came in the form of Pete Hadfield and Lisa Watterson, who averted a clean sweep in the last match of the night, taking two straight games for Castletown in the 1st mixed against Chris Birch and Pat Crease. Players of the match were nominated as Megan Wade, St Ninians, and Peter Hadfield, Castletown.
The rematch will take place on the 15th of January.
